Engraving 383x435 mm. Second state of four with Salamanca's address. Attributed to Agostino Veneziano after a design by Bandinelli for his relief in the Basilica at Loreto.Lettered with title and 'Excudebat Ant Salamanca 1540' lower left.
Superb, strong and contrasting early impression. Trimmed to the platemark, in excellent condition. Watermark: Crossbow in circle under fleur-de-lys (Woodward n. 216).
